Reverse Modes Explained

• Reverse Characters: Mirrors the entire string — every character is placed in reverse order. Emoji and multi-byte Unicode characters are handled safely. Hello becomes olleH.
• Reverse Word Order: Flips the sequence of words but keeps each word intact. Hello World becomes World Hello. Punctuation attached to a word moves with it.
• Reverse Each Word: Reverses the letters inside every word while keeping each word in its original position. Hello World becomes olleH dlroW.
• Reverse Lines: Flips the order of lines in a multi-line block. The last line becomes the first. Useful for reversing numbered lists or chronological logs.

The Reverse Word Order mode splits on single spaces. If your text has multiple spaces between words, those extra spaces are treated as empty tokens. For multi-space text, run it through the Trim Whitespace Tool first. The Reverse Characters mode is emoji-safe — it uses the spread operator to iterate code points instead of raw UTF-16 characters, so emoji like 😊 are not corrupted.
