Welcome to TextToolbox (texttoolbox.net). We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we operate. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using TextToolbox, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

TextToolbox is a browser-based text utility platform. We do not require account registration or login. Browsing the site can still involve usage information, cookies, browser storage and third-party requests described below.

The following types of data may be collected automatically:

• Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, browser type, operating system, and device type, collected via analytics services.
• Log data: IP address, referring URLs, and HTTP request metadata, collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure.
• Cookies: Small text files placed on your device by third-party services such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense (see Sections 4 and 5 and the Cookie Policy). The site sets no cookies of its own.

Browser-side text conversion is separate from website data handling. Check each tool’s save, copy, export and share actions. Some features keep choices in browser storage; following external links or using device services can involve other providers. Do not assume that every action or website request stays on your device.

Contact form:if you use the contact form, the name, email address, topic, optional page URL and message you enter are sent through Web3Forms, a third-party form service, to the site maintainer's email inbox. We use them only to read and answer your message. Web3Forms processes the submission on its servers, can see technical details such as your IP address, and, according to its privacy policy, deletes stored submissions after at most three years. It may also use spam filtering on submissions. Please do not include passwords, API keys or confidential documents.

2. How We Use Your Information

The data collected is used to:

• Understand how users interact with our tools so we can improve them.
• Monitor site performance, uptime, and security.
• Show advertisements through Google AdSense if advertising is enabled in the future.
• Comply with legal obligations if required.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use TextToolbox. Google Analytics can collect usage information such as page views, page URLs and traffic sources. The site loads the Google tag. Until you click Accept All in the cookie banner, and also if you click Reject Non-Essential, analytics storage is set to denied through Google Consent Mode. In that state the site sets no Analytics cookies and Google may receive only limited, cookieless signals. Browser settings and service configuration also affect what is received. This data is processed by Google in accordance with their Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Google AdSense & Advertising Cookies

TextToolbox loads the Google AdSensecode on its pages and may display advertisements in the future. The code connects to Google's advertising servers. Advertising storage and personalisation are set to denied until you click Accept All. After you accept, the code can set cookies, for example a test cookie from doubleclick.net, even when no advertisement is shown. When advertising is shown, Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to texttoolbox.net and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.

5. Cookies and Browser Storage

Cookies are small data files stored on your browser. TextToolbox sets none itself; the cookies that can appear come from two Google services:

• Analytics cookies: Set by Google Analytics (for example _ga) to measure usage patterns.
• Advertising cookies: Set by the Google AdSense code, for example a test cookie from doubleclick.net, and used to personalise ads when advertising is shown.

Your cookie choice and, once you change it, your theme preference use browser local storage. Recent tools can store tool identifiers and titles; favourites and recent selections can store style or collection identifiers. Some tools keep temporary choices only while the page is open. Local storage is different from cookies, and a tool’s Clear action does not necessarily clear other site data. The full list of cookies and storage keys is on the Cookie Policy page.

You can control and delete cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features on this site.

6. Third-Party Links

TextToolbox may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

7. Children's Privacy

TextToolbox is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

The only personal data we hold directly is what you send through the contact form or by email, which sits in the maintainer's email inbox. Server logs (such as IP addresses) are kept by our hosting provider. We keep a message only as long as needed to answer it and will delete it on request. Analytics and advertising data is processed by Google under its own policies, not stored by us.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of inaccurate data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Data portability.
